Blogger Beta--Still a Few Bugs in the System...

For a few weeks I was having trouble logging into blogger. I would have to request a new password each time I wanted to log in. This morning, I was able to log in normally with no trouble. Made my first post of the day, then saw the info on the new beta version of blogger, read up on it and decided to migrate on over. BAD MOVE.

Everything migrated over like it was supposed to, but now I can't log in. If I try to log in under my old info, I get a message that I've already migrated to beta. If I try to log in on beta with my new info, the page doesn't load. I went over to the Blogger Help Group to see if anyone else was having similar issues and if they were able to solve the problem. Some were, some weren't.

After a bit of experimenting, I can log onto my site, by making a comment on my own site or someone else's site who is published in beta and then going back to the blogger login page where I am logged in and it will take me to my dashboard.

Well, it looks like I've found a way to log onto my blog for now, hopefully the bugs will get worked out soon. In the meantime, I'll play around with the new features and see if it really is all that.

*NOTE: yes I see from the tool bar at the top of my blog page that I am logged in and can access my dashboard from there in theory, but the prompts in that toolbar are not active. I can click on 'em from now until doomsday and nothing happens.
